1. How do I change my banking information?

Please fax us a void cheque that includes your full name and address to our customer service center. Please include your account number and indicate when the new banking information comes into effect.

2. I am moving and have a loan on an item that is remaining with the home. What are my options?

When a change in homeowners occurs, UEI Financial allows the new homeowners to assume payments on the contract. Please contact UEI prior to your move and let us know of your intentions with the contract. The contract may also be paid out in full at this time.

3. I noticed a payment taken out of my bank account by UEI Financial but I don't have an account with your company.

UEI Financial provides financing programs to retailers. Recently you purchased a product at a retail store through a monthly payment plan or a deferred payment plan. UEI provided the financing through the retailer. Check with the documents you received associated with the purchase to see if UEI Financial is mentioned or contact the store where you made the purchase and ask them about the financing plan.

4. How do I apply for a loan with UEI Financial?

Simply make your purchase at a UEI Financial Approved Dealer in your area and let them know you want to take advantage of the UEI program. The retailer will ask you a few questions and your application will be complete in a few minutes. If you would like UEI to provide you with a list of Approved Dealers in your area please call 1.888-737-3674.

5. How do I make payments on my UEI Financial Account?

Your monthly payment is taken directly out of your bank account through pre-authorized payments. If you wish to make additional payments on you account, please send a cheque or money order to the following address . (link to contact us) UEI Financial does not accept payment via credit cards or through telephone or internet banking.

6. How do I get my payout balance for my loan?

Our customer care representatives are able to provide you with your payout balance. Please call 1.888.737.3674 to obtain this information. As interest on you account is calculated daily, the payout balance will change on a daily basis.

7. Can I change the day my monthly payment is withdrawn from my account?

UEI Financial currently has two options for payment dates; the 1 st (first) or 15th (fifteenth) of each month. Should you wish to change your current payment date, please call 1.888.737.3674.

8. I have made a purchase on a deferral. When is my payment due?

If you have made a purchase using a UEI Financial deferral plan you will have two options once the deferral period has lapsed. You may pay the contract in full prior to the end of the deferral period or if you choose not to pay out your contract, monthly payments will be withdrawn from your bank account through preauthorized payments.

The deferral period is based on the date of purchase or date of installation of the product, whichever occurred latest. For example, if your plan is a 90 day deferral the payment is due 90 days after the installation date. If you choose to pay out your contract prior to the end of the deferral plan, please send a cheque or money order at least 10 days before the due date.

9. I already have an account with UEI Financial, can I make additional purchases on this account?

Each purchase a customer makes through UEI Financial is approved individually therefore you will have to reapply every time you make another purchase. Simply make your purchase at a UEI Approved Dealer in your area and let them know you want to take advantage of the UEI program.
